Naghlu Solar Power Plant Inaugurated in Kabul’s Surobi District

A major milestone for Afghanistan’s renewable energy sector was reached with the inauguration of the 22.75 MW Naghlu Solar Power Plant in the Surobi district of Kabul. This landmark project not only strengthens the country's clean energy infrastructure but also brings sustainable power to local communities.

Developed in partnership with 77 Construction Company and Zularistan Ltd, the plant is set to enhance energy security and foster economic development in the region. As Afghanistan continues its transition to renewable energy, the Naghlu project stands as a strong example of progress through collaboration and innovation.
